This piece was made with porcelain clay & made into a wall hanging with resin. 

This piece represents the duality of childhood: joy and fear - but both faces are just pouting because childhood is hard. Not all children get to experience the joy; they just have to live through darkness and then function as adults with that shadow following them. 



First I created the baby heads out of ceramics by slip-casting them, and splitting them in half

After that, I added the black eye glaze and fired them

After they were fired, I placed them into a cutting board mold to make a wall hanging
