Lately, I've been inspired by the urban legend, or cryptid, of the Black Eyed Kids. As legend goes, these kids will come knock on your door and demand to be let inside - but if you let them in terrible things happen. 

I do love all things creepy, so of course this cryptid inspires me. The BEKs have all black eyes, cause panic and fear in those they approach, and are usually dressed in clothing that does not fit the time period.
